WOM UK’s next Espresso Briefing - who wants to come?

Benn will be at WOM UK’s next Espresso Briefing on Wednesday 30th July from 8.30am until 10.00am. This session will look at how to use social networks and online communities to amplify Word of Mouth, and will be held at One Alfred Place, London, WC1E 7EB.

As a member of WOM UK, Neoco client’s can get in for free with us, and our friends can get discounted rates - so make sure you let Benn know if you would like to come along by posting a comment or emailing him directly.

The briefing will look at one of the hottest issues in marketing at the moment - how brands take part in social networks and online communities. Using examples from the US and Europe, the session will help to identify when it’s right to join in social networks and when a brand should build its own community. The briefing will show the benefits different organisations have had from engaging through social networks and online communities, how they can help engage customers and, critically, who they build advocacy and amplify word of mouth.

Brand Advocacy Briefing

 espresso_vivace.jpg

This morning I went to the WOM-UK’s first ever Espresso Breakfast Briefing. This members session focused on Brand Advocacy in Europe, and we heard all about the findings from recent research carried out into European Brand Advocacy. The research was really interesting and some useful points were brought up. Get in touch if you would like a full de-briefing.

Congrats to Benn!

This week at Neoco we are really happy to hear that Benn has been elected on to the leadership board of WOM-UK. This is a great opportunity for Neoco to get even further involved with the Word of Mouth marketing industry and it reinforces our speciality in WOM marketing.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with WOM-UK, they are the organisation representing the WOM marketing industry in the UK. They were set up as a not for profit trade association, to provide Members with ethical operating guidelines, and they are dedicated to the promotion and furtherance of good practice in the WOM industry.

With it now widely accepted that the potential for WOM marketing cannot be underestimated, we are looking forward to being at the forefront of developments and communication within this exciting industry.

WOM-UK is still in the early stages of its development - membership is growing and they are currently developing a partnership with WOMMA in the US. This will provide some great opportunities for members – the first being a discounted ticket to WOMMA’s Word Of Mouth Marketing Summit, held in Las Vegas!

Come back soon for further developments at WOM-UK…
